Donald Patrick "Rick" Maness

Donald “Rick” Patrick Maness, 53, father of Trisha, Cody and the late Alexandra Maness, left his earthly home on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020.  Rick was a native of Lexington, born Dec. 5, 1966, to Patricia Crowe Elswick and Donald Jeffrey Maness.  He loved writing songs and singing as well as woodworking.  In addition to his parents, daughter, and son, he will be fondly remembered by brother Jeffrey Maness, wife Nadina, sisters Jenifer Caraway and Dixie Litzinger, husband Wayne, several grandchildren and many other extended family members.  His family chose cremation as was his wish and will have a private family burial in Irvine, KY in a family cemetery at a later date.  “If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together keep me in your heart, I’ll be there forever.” Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us by the Maness family to care for Rick.
