Donnie Joe Robinson, 69, of Nicholasville, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital. He was a native of Middlesboro, KY born July 19, 1946, to the late Joe H. and Goldie Hash. Donnie retired from Dillards as a dock manager and had been a mechanic. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Bluegrass Sportsman Club-Pistol Division, lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, National Range Officers Institute, National Marksman Association and the US Practical Shooting Association. His dearest friends which he chose as his family will miss him as they return his cremains to his home in Middlesboro. They are his high school classmate Polly Riley-McNally, Deana Cassity, Sam and Tabitha Cassity, Brian and Christy Crawford and Sam & Brian's children Clayton and Madison Cassity and Tanner Crawford. They are honoring his wishes for cremation and no service. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored help carry out Donnie's wishes.
