Dora B. King, 65, widow of William "Bill" King, entered into eternal rest Jan. 29, at Central Baptist Hospital. She was the daughter of John Willie and Daisy Barnett, a retired employee of Thomson Hood Veterans Center. Dora leaves to cherish her memory daughters Bonnie Louise Preston husband James, Ruth Adams, companion Jack Mink, Betty Jo Moore, and Julisa Christine Andrews, sons Billy Estill King wife Alma, and Christopher Michael King wife Rachel, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 6 brothers and sisters Lucille Fee, Willie Barnett, Raymond Earl Barnett, Dorothy Peel, Christine Peel, and Clarence Barnett. A Remembrance of Dora's life will be 1230 PM Friday Jan.31, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Sister Peggy Waggoner officiating. She will be laid to rest with Bill in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Alex King Destin Miller, Kyle Grimes, Richie Epley, Dylan King, and Michael Drury. Honorary bearers will be Jack Min, James Preston, and Jerry Peel. The family will receive friends Friday from 10 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
