Davis, Dorothy, 83 ñFourth St. went to be with the Lord Saturday, Sept. 1 at Central Baptist Hospital. Born July 27, 1924 Jessamine County.

She was Preceded in death by her husband Raymond (June) Davis, Son, Charles, parents Everett and Myrtle Cartwright, one sister, three son-in-laws and one grandchild.

She is survived by seven daughters. Dorothy Ann Brent, Judie Karpuleon, Linda (James) Davis, Evelyn McCollum, Brenda (Zack-Cotton) Hopkins, Diana Price, Charlotte (Ed) Lamb.

Twelve grandchildren; Darrell Hall, Janice Hessler, Steven Brent:; Kim Wise, Frankie Karpuleon, Jimmy Davis, Jason Price, Brian McCollum, Jerry McCollum, Stephanie Littrel, Tracy King, Danny Hager and Twenty three great grandchildren; Brenton, Darrell Jr., Mason, Billy and Jimmy, Steven, Ian, Travis, Luke, Taylor, Lindsey, Samantha, Haley, Madison, Cody, Dillon, Christopher, Ashley, Sierra, William, Dwayne, Megan and Gabriel. And 2 great ñgreat grandchildren;

Other survivors include sisters Barbara (Bobby) French and Wanda (Chuck) Bolton and one brother Everett Cartwright Jr. and several nieces and nephews. And a special friend Anna Craft.

Visitation Tuesday 4-8 p.m., services Wednesday 1:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Dan Barnes at Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darrell Hall, Frankie Karpuleon, Jason Price, Danny Hager, Jimmy Davis, Steven Brent, Jerry McCollum and Cotton Hopkins.
