Dorothy Breaden Masters, 81, of La Grange, North Carolina entered into Heaven, Saturday, August 30, 2008. Mrs. Masters was born in Jerusalem to missionary parents, the late George and Lola Breaden. A devoted pastor’s wife and loving mother, she served as pianist during her husband’s ministry.

Mrs. Masters is survived by her husband of fifty eight years, Joe B. Masters; two children, Charles Clifford Masters and wife, Kathi of Colorado Springs, CO, Kathleen Sue Kennedy and husband, Mark of La Grange; two sisters, Evelyn Mangham of Florida and Marjorie Farrell of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, John Breaden of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren, Dacia Masters, Dana Masters Chippindale, John Mark Kennedy, Joseph Kennedy and Sara Kennedy Hall; six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Masters was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam Taylor.

The family will received friends on Tuesday from 7-8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, La Grange, North Carolina. They will also receive friends on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home.

A service of remembrance will be held Friday, September 5, 2008 at 11 a.m at Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home, burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Sign guest book www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com
