Dwight Wade Sewell

Dwight Wade Sewell, Sr., 76, husband of Linda Abshear Sewell, left his earthly home Sunday, April 12, 2020 while a resident of Nicholasville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was a native of Versailles, Ky born July 9, 1943, to the late Prentice and Ora Florence Flora Sewell.  He had been an employee of the Allen Company for many years. He had a passion for the outdoors, loved his Coon Hounds, hunting rabbits, and fishing.  When found  indoors he would be watching UK Basketball, being an avid fan.  He is survived by a daughter Missy Sewell, son Dwight Wade Sewell, Jr., grandchildren Kayla Sewell, Amanda Sutherland, and Kimberly Sewell, great grandchildren Judson and Elleigh Carter, Brentlee and Brinleigh Wood, Erick and Makalay Collins, and Brandea Sewell, as well as brother Tony Sewell and sister Joan Parker.   There are no services planned and entombment will take place in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens on Friday, April 17.
