Elgan Wayne ‘Pud’ Bruner, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Wild Turkey Distillery where he had been employed for the past 13 years as a warehouse supervisor. He was a native of Jessamine County born July 20, 1941, to Ann Walker Bruner Corman and the late Elgan Bruner. Pud was a member of Lambert’s Chapel United Methodist Church and loved hunting, motorcycles, and eating out with Dottie . In addition to his mother Ann Corman and husband Frank, he is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Dottie Stipe Bruner, children Tina Russell, husband John and Elgan Brent Bruner, wife Deanna, 4 loving grandchildren Lindsey, Nickolas, wife Samantha Jo, Natalie, and Brent, brothers Danny ‘Tuck’ Bruner, and Kevin Corman, sisters Sue Clark, husband Ray, and Ida Young, husband Lynn. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Larry Dean Bruner and Chris Corman.
Services will be 11:00 AM Sat. Nov. 26, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Gilford officiating. He will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Brent and Elgan Bruner, Nickolas and John Russell, Jordan Wilson, and Glendon Lay. Honorary bearers will be Ira Bruner, Jr., B.C.
