Nicholasville: Emaree Cobb Willis, 94, left this life on Friday, Dec. 19. She was a native of Jessamine County, born Dec. 3, 1920, to the late Marvin and Bessie Reynolds Cobb. She was a member of Turning Point Church and a retired employee of the Jessamine County Board of Education after having worked 20 years in the school cafeteria at Nicholasville Elementary. She is survived by a daughter Mary Sue Royse, grandsons Mark Royse, Lexington and David Royse, wife Carolyn, Nicholasville, great grandchildren Benjamin Royse and Mallorie and Paige Burton, sisters Mary Benge, Nicholasville and Bobbie Jo Townsend, husband Bobby, Tollsboro as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Norma Ann, brothers Burnam and Donnie Cobb and son-in-law Pete Royse. A Service of Remembrance will be 1:00 PM on Monday, Dec. 22, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Pietsoi officiating. There will be a private burial. Her family will receive friends from 1 to 5 PM on Sunday, Dec. 21, at the funeral home. Hager & Cundiff is honored to serve her family.
