Vivian Reynolds Campbell, 95, widow of Bernice Campbell, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, at her home. A native of Jessamine County she was born March 21, 1917, to the late Melvin and Pearl Walker Reynolds.
She loved to cook, fish, and garden, and prided herself in being a farmer. She grew many vegetables and gladiolas to give to her friends and was always quick to bake cakes, make candy, and lend a hand to anyone who was in need. A phone call from her friends to go someplace and she would always be ready and waiting.
Survivors include her son Thomas J. Campbell, wife Donna, grandchildren Cindy Campbell and Michael Campbell, wife Jill, great grandchildren Andrew and Nathan Campbell, sisters Molly Hisle and Wavelene Noel.
A Service of Remembrance will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, Feb. 21, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Wilkins officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Blue Grass Gardens.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Gary Campbell, Roy Don Reynolds, Jerry and Todd Sadler, Tommy Long Tony Beckham, and Buddy Turner. Honorary bearers will be Bob Damron, Breton Jones, Neal Cassity, Ray Watts, Mae Watts, Hazel Underwood, Mary Lee and Stephanie Long, Vivian Turner, Colleen Campbell, and Nancy Corman.
