Eva Marie Grow Dean, 81, of Dorset Drive, Lexington, widow of James H. Dean, died Sun., Dec. 3rd at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. A native of Jessamine County, she was born Nov. 8, 1925, to the late Elmer and Claudia Cooley Grow. She is survived by three daughters, Joan Esenbock and husband Mike, Judy Dean, Jaime Dean, one son, Jackie Dean and wife Diane, six grandchildren, Alicia Esenbock, Amanda Esenbock-Stamper and husband David, Michael Esenbock, James A. Dean, Crystal R. Dean, Tracey L. Dean Moore and husband Travis, three great grandchildren, Zachary Esenbock, Gracie Esenbock-Stamper, and Madison Dean, two sisters, Marjorie Horn and husband Marvin, Helen Easterly and husband Ed, two brothers, Charles Grow and wife Elizabeth, and David Grow and wife Joretta. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruth Aubrey and one brother, Harold Grow. Private services will be held at HAGER & CUNDIFF FUNERAL HOME, W. Oak St., with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Dean, Michael Patko, John Gault, Jr., Randy Grow, Travis Moore, and Chris Reed. Contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
