Flora (Wombles) Loudin

Flora  Loudin, 92, widow of George Loudin since 1984, joined him in eternal rest on Saturday, Oct 5, 2019, at Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort, KY.  Flora was a native of Bell County born Feb. 14, 1927 to the late Ervin”Bud” and Nancy Jane Honeycutt Wombles.  Flora was a homemaker who loved to sew and making  soft blankets for her grandchildren who called them “softies” and was talented in putting together quilts as well as being a good cook.  Her family was alway foremost in her life.  She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted daughter Bobbie J. Baker, brother Alford Wombles, 8 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren as well as numerous other extended family members.  She was preceded in death by Billy Ray, Harold and Lana Sue Smith swell as 7 brothers and sisters.  A Graveside Remembrance will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery on Thursday, Oct. 10 at 3:00 PM. “Her life was a blessing and her memory will be a treasure, Flora will be missed beyond measure”.  It is a privilege for Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home to be chosen to care for Flora and her family.
