Fredia Hagan May Goldey

Fredia Hagan May Goldey, 76, loving wife of John Goldey for 18 years and widow of Glenn May since 1993, passed away August 10. She was a native of Pulaski County born May 19,1939, to the late Robert Mason and Marie Hagan. Fredia was a member of Brookside Baptist Church, former owner of the Closet Dress Shop and Mays's Country Hams. In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter Barbara May Bingham, grandson Caleb John Peel, stepsons David Goldey, wife Stacey and Tim Goldey, step grandchildren Hagan Goldey, Paul Fox, and Ramie Goldey. A Remembrance Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 12, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Brewer officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Lancaster Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Caleb Peel, David, Larry, and Gary Goldey, Ryan Feldman, and Lawerence Riley. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
