Garnet "Fred" Frederick Wilkerson

Garnet Frederick Wilkerson, 79, widower of Maggie Pearl Lee and a retired farmer, entered into eternal rest on June 20, 2022, after an extended illness.  He was a native of Hustonville, Ky and was one of the 14 children born to James Ira and Nannie Belle Lawhorn Wilkerson.  He was born on July 4, 1942. Fred lived in Texas for a number of years and farmed in Woodford County upon his return to Kentucky.  He will be fondly remembered by his children Cecilia Hood, Mary Frances Perry, Bonnie Belle Teater, and Garnet FrederickWilkerson, Jr. and his sister Betty Hiter, as well as his 10 grandchildren a host of great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.  Fred was preceded in death by Russell, Bobby Virgil, and Raymond Wilkerson, Beulah Luttrell, Lucy Meeks, Bertha Wren, Grace Wren, Mabel Wren, Frances Sutherland, and Ruth Thompson.
