Geneva "Jean" Scott, 87, of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Lexington passed away March 1, 2014 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ray D. Scott and daughters Yolanda Johnson, husband Don and Yvonne Combest, husband John, 4 grandchildren Jeff Back, Kathy Johnson, Michael Combest, wife Carrie, Robert Combest, wife Brooke, 6 great grandchildren Kyle and Hayden Back, Kassidy, Kaden, Addison and Cooper Combest, who will miss their "Nan" very much. She is also survived by 2 brothers Oscar and Clyde, as well as a sister Edith. She was preceded in death by 3 siblings and a grandchild. Jean worked as a private duty nurse before becoming an industrial nurse with Irvin Industries, where she late became the Human Resource Director. She later returned to industrial nursing at FMC Corporation until her retirement. A Service of Remembrance will be at 12:00 PM Noon on Saturday, March 8, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Jean's family will receive friends from 10:30 to time of Service on Saturday.
