After a near-perfect life, Geraldine (Gigi) Sloan Comley, 85, formerly of 401 West Maple Street, died April 17, 2011, surrounded by her children. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Victor Comley, and grandson, Marine Lance Cpl. Chase J. Comley. She is survived by four adoring children, Laura, Missy Beattie, Mark (Angi), Richard (Debbie), ‘adopted’ daughter Erma Steppe and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hager & Cundiff is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
