Gladys Mae Lowry, 86, widow of Eugene Lowry since 1985 entered into eternal rest Monday, July 13, at DiversaCare Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Bessie Houp, a homemaker, and member of the Highbridge Union Church. She loved to walk, read, listen to music, and her dog Patches. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Linda Chism, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son Glenn Wesley Lowry, 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren a brother Billy Charles Johnson, wife Eula, and 5 nieces. A Graveside Service will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. The family and friends will gather at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2 :00 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday.
