Nicholasville -Glendon R. Roberts, 76, husband of Wanda Roberts passed away Saturday at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Roberts was a native of Cuzick, KY born November 29th, 1936 to the late Fred and Naomi Cobb Roberts.

He was retired from the city of Nicholasville as a supervisor for the water Department, a constable for district one in Jessamine County for 29yrs, was also a Special Deputy Sheriff as well as a volunteer firefighter for the city of Nicholasville for many years.
Mr Roberts was preceded in death by a son Gary Roberts, brother Dean Roberts and his parents in law J.W. and Katherine Shields.

Left to cherish his memory besides his wife Wanda are , his two daughters Glenda and Charlotte Roberts both of Nicholasville, sister Wanda Burdine , Nicholasville , sister in law Alma Craig , daughter in law Ginny Roberts Milburn, grandchildren , Jake and Brittany Roberts , Marla Scott, Candice Roberts , Ciera and Scarlett Land. great grandchildren Sydnee Roberts, Adrianna Tackett, Thomas Glendon Byrd and Annie Grace Lamb. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home conducted by his daughter Glenda Roberts he will laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring him as pallbearers will be members of his beloved family.
Visitation will be Monday September 9th from 4:00 till 8:00 PM.
