Gregory E. Thomas

Gregory E. Thomas, 76, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.  He born in Fayette County on May 25, 1946 to the late Edward and Eugenia Carter Thomas.  Gregory was employed in the banking industry and also worked in sales at the Lexington Herald Leader.  He had a heart for animals and loved watching old Westerns.  Gregory was a proud grandfather and even took his grandson to his first movie.  He leaves wonderful memories with his step-children Teresa Willett, Richard Wren, and Lisa Powers and their families, including six step-grandchildren.  No services are planned at this time. “Life is but a stopping place, a pause in what’s to be . . . a resting place along the road to sweet eternity.” Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust placed in us to care for Gregory and his family.
