Gurney Clay Logston

Gurney Clay Hogston, 72, of Wells Court, died Saturday, Sept. 25, at the St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. Gurney was the husband of Carris Asher Hogston and was a native of Perry County, Kentucky. He also was a retired supervisor for Kentucky American Water Company, an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, boat, and golf. He like reading western books and watching John Wayne movies. In addition to his wife of 48 years he is survived by his children James Edward and Jill Lynn Hogston, both of Nicholasville, grandson Deluis Clay Hogston, sisters Catherine Murry, Launa Combs, Bonnies Jones, a brother Robert Hogston and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Tribute to his life will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 1:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. The family will be available from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM to share memories of Gurney.
