Harold M. Burton 72, of Keene Troy Road husband of Amy Anderson Burton passed away on Thursday, June 9, at St. Joseph Hospital. A native of Jessamine County he was born July 11, 1938, to the late Homer and Christine Walker Burton. He was a retired employee of the Jessamine Fiscal Court where he worked in the Maintainece Department. He was a member of Nicholasville Church of Christ. In addition to his wife Amy he is survived by 6 sons David, Bobby, Lewis, Billy Homer Nichols, and Harold, Jr., 3 step daughters Sharon Messer, Cheryl Durham, and Shirley Smith, numerous grandchildren which include Amber Huff, Amy and Pamela Messer, James and Derek Smith, Kiara Burton, Madison Durham, Skylar Burton, and Savannah Burton, sisters Sylvia House, Dorothy Reed, Ruth Sloan, Brenda Meyer, and Betty June Steele, brothers Kenneth, Richard, Mark, and Sam Burton as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, June 13, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Chaplin Edwin Shei officiating. He will be laid to rest in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Honoring him as pallbearers will be James A. Smith, Derck Smith, Steve Durham, Ralph Preston, Christ Houp, Jacob Sams, Brian Anderson, Donald Ray House, and Frank Anderson.
