Helen (Cornett) Rhoades

Helen Cornett Rhoades, 85, of Beattyville, joined her husband Glenn Delbert Rhoades in eternal rest on Friday, November 6, 2020.  Helen was born in Booneville, KY on February 2, 1935 to the late John and Dora Smith Cornett.  She was a homemaker and loving mother to Winfred Rhoades, Ward Rhoades, wife Rhonda, and Barbara Christman, husband John Goode, as well as two grandchildren, with whom she leaves wonderful memories.  In addition to her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Shelah Rhoades.  Cremation was chosen, and there are no services planned at this time.  “I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.  I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Helen and the Rhoades family.
