Nicholasville: Hettie Manley Hall, 92, of Troy Rd. died Sunday, Jan. l8, at Royal Manor Nursing Home. She was the widow of Ernest Wilson Hall who died in 1989. A native of Jessamine County she was born April 6, 1916, to the late J. W. and Nancy Cairel Manley. Hettie was a graduate of Troy High School, a seamstress, member of Mt. Freedom Church where she was church secretary, a member of the Mt. Pleasant Homemakers Club, conducted sewing classes for the 4-H, and a member of the VA Auxiliary . Survivors include her daughter Joyce E. Shelley and son Ben F. Hall and wife Ann, 6 grandchildren Christie Hall, husband Rob, Daniel A. Hall, Karen Butler, husband Steve, Becky Sewell, Randy Shelley, wife Annie, and Stacy Koenig, 8 great grandchildren Heather Sewell, Kyle Butler, Lauren Shelley, B. J. Hall, Alyssa Butler, Savannah Koenig, Ben Shelley, and Will Voltenhein. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers Arthur, Benny and Ervin Manley and a sister Nell Hughes.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wed., Jan. 21, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Don Reed and Rev. Leonard Fitch officiating, burial in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Randy Shelley, Steve Butler, Kyle Butler, B. J. Hall, Daniel Hall and Rob Voltenhein. Visitation will be on Tues. Jan. 20, from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
