Hollis Jean Bell-Atkins

Nicholasville: Hollis Jean Bell-Atkins, died Saturday July 10, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Hollis and Verna Padgett Jackson and the widow of Gerald Atkins who died in 2009. Jeannie was a homemaker and member of the Nicholasville Church of God. Survivors include her 2 sons David Bell, wife Lisa and Owen Bell, daughter in law Jessica Bell, 5 grandchildren Christy and Ashley Scott, Makayla Bell, Aleah Bell and Gwenna Bell, sisters Betty Barnes, husband Leo and Paul Ramirez husband John and a brother Aubrey Allen Padgett. She also is survived by her extended family who she always claimed as her children Stacy Oliver and her daughter Kylee, Contessa Small and Todd Barnes. She was preceded in death by a son Jonathan Bell.

A tribute to her life will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, July 15, at Nicholasville Church of God with Brother James Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 PM until service time. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
