Ina Lucille Bowles

Ina Lucille Bowles, 80, of Mundy’s Landing, beloved wife of Henry Bowles for 62 years passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on Thurs. Feb. 17, 2011. A native of Woodford County she was born Nov. 14, 1930, to the late Robert and Maggie Coyle Strange. She was well known for her love of music and played the organ at Clover Bottom Baptist Church of which she was a long time member. Lucille was a retiree of Sponttswood Speciality and graduate of Woodford Senior High School. In addition to her husband she is survived by 2 daughters Janet Isaacs and Patty Stocker, husband Ralph, grandchildren Michelle Lang, husband Scott, Mindy Conrad, husband Chuck, Anthony Duggins, wife Jackie, Jennifer Perry, husband Tommy, Beth Day, husband Ricky and Joshua Houp, wife Sarah,Shannon Collins husband Dave, 11 great grandchildren Sarah McIntosh, Jessica Lang, Brittany and Blake Conrad, Hayleigh, Olivia and Ethan Perry, Sierra Sanders,Makenzie Day, Layla, Houp, and Tyler Collins, great great granddaughter Abbygail McIntosh, a beloved brother and his wife Curtis and Lynn Strange and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son in law Lloyd Isaacs.

Services will be 1:00 Monday, Feb. 21, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Braswell and Rev. Don Reed officiating, burial Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Anthony Duggins, Tommy Perry, Joshua Houp, Chuck Conrad, Dave Collins, Matt McIntosh, and Justin Wade. Honorary bearers will be Dick Chapman, Mike Chapman, Bill Spaulding, Roger Patterson, Carl Patterson, and Terry Tinch. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 20, from 4 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
