James Michael "Mike" Crutcher

James Michael “Mike” Crutcher, 41, father of Kaylee and Weslea Crutcher, left his earthly home on Sunday, May 24.  He was a patient of UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center.  He was born in Lexington Ky to Mark Reed and Rwanda Crutcher on Nov 25, 1978.  He was an excellent mechanic and worked along side his Dad, Mark. He loved basketball-whether he was a spectator or a participant, it didn’t matter.  Mike loved his children and being outdoors.  In addition to his two daughters, and his Mother Rwanda Crutcher and father Mark Reed, his wife Sue, he will be fondly remembered by his maternal grandmother Shirley Masters, paternal grandmothers Ruth Locker and  Lois Reed, siblings Melissa Hulett, husband Aaron, Alisa Crutcher, Tiffany Reed, and Sarah McIntosh, husband Seth, as well as a host of nieces,  nephews,  aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by maternal grandfathers James Masters and Kenneth Crutcher and paternal grandfathers Roland Reed and Buck Locker.  The family will have visitation from beginning at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 28, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home and a Family Remembrance Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 29.  His Service will be lived streamed for those who are unable to attend  on the Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home Facebook page.  Check for instructions on Friday.  We encourage all attending to please abide by social distancing and be mindful of others attending.  You can sign his guestbook and view his video on www.hagerandcundifffunerals.com.   Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Mike, by the Reed and Crutcher families.
