Janice "Jan" Carolyn (Robinson) Wells

Janice R. Wells, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died on August 23, 2017.  She leaves behind her husband, Ray Wells, of 57 years, son Scott Wells and daughter-in law Julie, and daughter Laura Fannin and friend Brent Coop.  She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Jan Allison Wells.  Jan was born in Jessamine County, KY on July 18, 1939, to Clarence and Myrtle Robinson.  Jan is also survived by grandchildren Grant Wells, Ryan Neff and wife Ashley and sons Ridley, Silas, and Solomon, Katie Neff McRae and husband Sam, and Lindsey Fannin.    Also surviving Jan is a brother, Victor Robinson, and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her late parents and daughter, Jan was preceded in death by her only sister Kathleen R. Coffman.  Jan was the secretary of the original 1959 Jessamine County High School, and she later served as secretary of the Nicholasville United Methodist Church for numerous years.  During her retirement years, Jan drove a school bus for the Jessamine County School System and for Wombles Charter Bus Company.  She was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church, Nicholasville, where she truly dedicated her life to serving her Lord.  Visitation will be at Edgewood Baptist Church, S. Main St., on Saturday, August 26, from 11:00 – 1:00.   A Remembrance Service will immediately follow at Edgewood Baptist at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Rev.
