Jason Hobabe Hensley

Jason H. Hensley, 42, of Nicholasville, left his earthly home on Sunday, July 23, 2023.  He was born December 15, 1980 in Lexington to the late Raleigh Samuel Hensley and the late Wanda Jean Adams.  Jason worked in various factories, as a landscaper, and in concrete with his friend Jason Woodward.  He enjoyed hunting for Appalachian ginseng.  Jason was most proud of his recent certification as a Peer Mentor Specialist, allowing him to help others who are working to overcome addiction.  Jason leaves fond memories with his fiancée, Dana Reynolds, as well as his sister Gloria Wells, brothers Clayton Hensley and Travis Adams, and a host of friends. Arrangements for celebrating Jason’s life are pending and will be updated here when finalized.  “If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.  I’ll stay there forever.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust placed in us to care for Jason and his loved ones.
