Jerry H. Harmon Ii

Jerry H. Harmon II, affectionally know as “Jerry Two,” the son of Jerry and Alice Fairchild Harmon, left his earthly home Dec. 30, 2019.  He was a native of Lexington, KY but a life long resident of Nicholasville.  Jerry was known for his big heart and caring ways for others.  His favorite activity was playing online video games, but he also enjoyed hunting, collecting guns and knives, was very involved in body building, and walking and taking care of Lucky, his cat.  In addition to his mother and father he will be fondly remembered by his sister and brother-in-law Terri Fischer Ware and Greg Ware, his nephew Chandler Fischer and his wife Martha Barr Fischer, uncles Barry Harmon, wife Patsy, Larry Fairchild, Roger Fairchild, wife Lori, aunt Kay Burton, husband Mike, and many other extended family members, as well as  friends Wesley Cobb, Eric Cox, Brent and Gerald Abshear.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Esbie and Eula Fairchild and paternal grandparents Charles and Geneva Harmon, uncles GG Harmon, Wannie, Mike,  and Espie Jr. Fairchild. and aunt Joann Fairchild,  The family will greet friends beginning at 4:00 PM on Monday, Jan. 6 with a Remembrance Memorial to be held at 7:00 PM, both at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.  His uncle Rev. Barry Harmon will be officiating at the Memorial. A private inurnment will take place at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens on Tues., Jan. 7.   “Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near and still very dear.”  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home values nothing more than the trust that has  given to us by the Harmon family.
