Jesse Wayne Jackson

Our community will miss the smiles, jokes, and loving ways of Jesse Wayne Jackson, 67, who left his earthly home on Sunday evening after spending a day at church and with friends. Jesse was the widower of Lucy Hunter Jackson who was the love of his life who died 2009. He was a native of Wilmore, Ky born Jan. 29, 1949, to the late Homer and Marjorie Jackson Watts. Jesse retired from IBM and later worked for the Jessamine County Planning and Zoning in Code Enforcement. He was a past member Jessamine County Saddle Club, the Young Farmers Associating and the Bethel Christian Church. Jesse loved spending time outdoors riding horses, hunting, farming and camping and had a way of teasing people and creating fun times with friends and family. He leaves his memories with his son Bryan Wayne Jackson and daughter Jenny Jackson Wiley, husband David, grandson Cole Wiley, sisters Judy Stevenson, husband Art, and Nancy Figg, husband Glenn, sister-in-law Becky Garrett, as well as nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
