Jewett Malcom Arnsparger, 91, husband of Mary, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Oct. 23, at Baptist Health Care. He was a native of Henry County, born May 27, 1923, to the late Arthur H. and Nancy G. Garvey Arnsparger. He was a graduate of Pleasureville High School where he was known as "Jew", was the Argo Staff Editor-In-Chief, president of the "Boys Glee Club", Senior Hi-Y, Club, Science Club and was Valedictorian. After graduation he was called to serve in the Army. He was retired employee of Gordon Foods and member of Brookside Baptist Church. In addition to his loving wife of 46 years he leaves his memories with a son John Arnsparger, wife Susan and daughter Nancy Arnsparger, and his friends. He was preceded in death by brother Keith and sister Martha. A Remembrance Service will be held 11L00 AM Monday, Oct. 27, by Rev. Dewayne Brewer at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Paul, Brad, and Bruce Jones, David Reynolds, Dean Miller, and Ralph Arnsparger. His family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM on Sunday, Oct. 26, at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the Sunrise Children's Services. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored serve the Arnsparger family.
