Jimmy Lynn Collins, 70. loving husband of Lori Collins for 20 years, left his earthly home on Jan. 25, 2022. He was one of 9 children born to the late Phil and Bessie Chapman Collins. He was a native of Jessamine County, born on Nov. 6, 1951. He was a self employed builder and construction worker who also loved to fish and hunt. In addition to his wife Lori and her mother Nancy Leito who was his beloved mother-in-law he will be fondly remembered by children Elizabeth Taylor (Owen Bell), Rusty Rice(Margo), and Jim Collins, Jr grandchildren Alex Rice, Gaedon Taylor, Camren Taylor, Hayleigh Collins, Lindsay Collins, and Gabe Collins, and great grandchildren Caiden Wethington and Jocelyn Valadez, as well as his sisters Mary Alice Courtney, Ann Burus and brothers Robert Collins and Kirby Collins. He was preceded in death by brothers Phil, Alvin, Stanley, and Michael Collins. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday Jan. 31, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home beginning at 12:00 Noon until 1 PM. A Graveside Remembrance will be at 1:30 PM in the Wilmore Cemetery.
