John Robert Allen

John Robert Allen, Jr., 31, son of John Robert, Sr. and Vicki Vollmer Allen and father of Alivia Ann Dawn Allen, passed from his earthly home on Nov. 15, 2021. He enjoyed fishing, working on trucks, listening to music, and spending time with his dog Charlie. John Robert was employed by Moss Lake Farm where he enjoyed working with horses. He was a member of Celebrate Recovery at the Forks of Dix River Church.  In addition to his parents and daughter, he will be fondly remembered by his sister Heather Ann Allen and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother Gary Wayne Peel, maternal grandparents Patricia Ann and Albert Vollmer and paternal grandparents William and Faye Allen.  A Remembrance service will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday Nov. 18 at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Honorary bearers will be Steven Maggard, Brandon Montgomery and Coty Collins. The family will greet friends beginning at 4:00 PM and ending at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home.  “If ever there comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.
