Joseph Wilson

Joseph “Jody” Wilson, Sr., 52, left his earthly home on Thursday, February 17, 2022, in Somerset, Kentucky.  He was born on July 3, 1969 to Evelyn Ballard and the late Kenneth Abney.  Jody was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky.  He enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his friends and was known as the one who could always make everyone laugh.  Jody leaves fond memories with his children Amy, Brandon, Ashley, Tristen, Joseph, and Savannah, as well as several siblings.  His family will gather from 11AM-2PM Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Lake Mingo Park, Shelter #3 in Nicholasville to celebrate Jody’s life. “I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.  I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Jody and his family.
