Joyce Ann Brock

Joyce Brock, wife of Billy Dean Brock entered into eternal rest on Sunday Oct. 12, 2014, at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. She was a native of Wilmore born Oct. 13, 1949, to the late Grover and Lena Mae Lunsford and the youngest of 12 children. She was a former employee of St. Joseph Hospital where she was a nurse and the Jessamine County Detention Center as a deputy jailer. Joyce loved flowers, gardening and was devoted to being an inspiration to her friends on Facebook. She leaves her memories with her husband of 30 years, a daughter and son Tina Ann and William J. Brock, sister Jeanette Todd, husband James, and grandchildren Jonathan, Crystal, Cassie, Trent, and Logan Brock and Josh Pierce as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters. A Remembrance Service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 16, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Wilmore Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Brandon Rodgers, Billy and Brent Hisel, Charlie and Andrew Stinnett, Trent Brock, and Johnny Thacker.
