Juan Shelby Mitchell

Juan Mitchell, 50, son of the late William and Betty Coomer left his earthly home on Nov. 11, 2022.  He was a native of Nicholasville and leaves behind to cherish his childhood memories sisters Pamala Dobbins, Shelia Ballard, and Billie Rodriguez, and brothers Terrance Coomer and Michael Coomer.  He is also survived by a son Nathan Alexander Barb and  granddaughter Ezra Barb, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by special friends Damon Taylor, Deena McKinney, Asher C. Snedegar III, and Krissy Darby.  He was preceded in death by a brother Aaron Mitchell.  Services for Juan are planned for Saturday, November 19 at Gospel Word Missionary Church, 8040 Harrodsburg Road, Nicholasville.  Please be considerate of Family who will gather from 10-10:30 AM.  They welcome all friends from 10:30-11:30 AM, with a meaningful service at 11:30 AM.  Masks are highly suggested.   “I could not stay another day; tasks left undone most stay that way.  I found my peace at the end of the day.  For now I am free.”  Hager  & Cundiff values the trust given to us to care for Juan’s cremation arrangements by his family.
