Juanita Rose Keller, 88, widow of Robert “Bobby” A. Keller, to whom she was married for 43 years since 1992, left her earthly home on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018. She was a native of Lexington born May 15, 1930, to the late Elzie and Ella Mae Mefford Lunsford, and raised by her paternal aunt and uncle, the late Lottie M. and Francis M. Hellard from the age of 18 months. Juanita was a devoted farmer’s wife, homemaker, fiercely loved by her boys, and cherished by her friends. She was a long time member of South Elkhorn Christian Church, but had attended St Luke Catholic Church for 26 years and was a former officer of the Priscilla Circle CWF. Juanita was always admired for the hats she wore. She leaves her memory with sons Gary Allen Keller, fiancé Pamela Wise, Lew Kehrt Keller, wife Kay, and Deacon William Frank Keller, grandchildren Keith, Kyle, Charles, Bryant, and Kennetha Keller, 7 great grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, as well as her sister Joyce May and brother Jerry Lunsford, Sr., sisters-in-law Sara Keller and Pam Lunsford, brother-in-law Lawrence Fister, and her many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her best friend of over 75 years Ann Edelen Morgan. She was preceded in death by a grandson George Kenton Keller and brother Jack Lunsford. A Remembrance Service will be at 1:00 PM Monday, Sept 24, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Deacon Gary Rudemiller officiating, and she will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Keene Cemetery. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Daniel Stafford, Deacon Richard Abbey, Allen Mullins, Keith, Kyle, and Robert Keller. Honorary bearers will be Charles and Bryant Keller, Steve Morgan, Sarita Goins, Denise Dean, Members of the Pricilla CWF Circle, and the Saturday night church group.
