The rock of her family Judy Durham Johns, 64, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2. She was a native of Jessamine County born August 11, 1951, to Roberta Bruner Perkins and the late Goble Perkins, Jr. Judy was an insurance agent and underwriter for Members Heritage, and also had worked for AAA Insurance and Blue Grass Insurance Agency. She was always involved with her family loving to play games with her grandchildren as well as many games on Facebook and had many friends as she never met a stranger and always enjoyed talking to people. She leaves these memories and many more with her son Stanley Durham, wife Lisa and daughter Shannon Durham, grandchildren Cody Walker, Naja'Re Tichenor husband Todd, Rachael, Luke, and Jacob Durham, and great grandchildren Maliek Washington, Micah Durham, Cason Walker, and Romelo Tichenor. as well as a niece Ashley Perkins and sister-in-law Terrye Perkins. Judy was preceded in death by a brother Billy Perkins. There will be a Remembrance Memorial 6:30 PM Thursday, July 7, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from 5:30 PM until time of service. Hager & Cundiff is honored to be chosen by Judy's family to arrange her cremation and Remembrance Memorial.
