Judy Kay (Cheek) Shearer

Judy Kay Cheek Shearer, 66, loving wife of 52 years to Doug, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Baptist Health Lexington.  She was born April 11, 1953, in Garrard County to the late Zach and Dora Mae Brock Cheek.  In addition to her devoted husband, Judy will be fondly remembered by her children Richard Shearer, Ronald Shearer, Rodney Shearer, and Ronda Ashcraft, as well as 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Frances Cheek and Georgia Marie Cheek.  Preceding her in death besides her parents were 2 brothers and a sister.  Cremation was chosen, and no services are planned.  “If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart.  I’ll stay there forever.”  Hager & Cundiff values nothing more than the trust given to us by the Shearer Family.
