Karl Harold Seesser

Karl Harold Seesser, loving husband of Lorraine Bahnsen Seesser for 55 years, left his earthly home Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Baptist Health Lexington.  Karl was born November 3, 1940 in Clinton, Iowa, to the late Karl Rudolph and Ruth Kuchel Seesser.  He worked in banking at Wells Fargo and other Bank & Trust companies.  Karl had the “need for speed” and enjoyed racing boats and cars in France and Germany at different times.  He loved to travel and he and Lorraine visited their ancestral home countries in Europe.  In addition to his wife, he leaves fond memories with his daughter Ruth Shibilski, husband Eric, and his son Karl Eric Seesser, husband Timothy Gohde, grandchildren Keil Shibilski, fiancée June, Garrett Shibilski, and Austin Shibilski, wife Lexi, as well as two great grandchildren, two nieces and a nephew.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother.  Cremation was chosen, and no services are planned at this time.  “I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
