Lee Hobbs, 61, husband of Teresa "Terri" Hobbs entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at his home after an extended illness. Lee was a native of Jessamine County born July 26, 1952, to the late James Edward and Dorothy Calico Hobbs. He was a retired installation employee of Gutter Works and a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. His favorite pass time was riding around with his friends through the countryside. In addition to his wife of 11 years he leaves to cherish is memory a son Eric, step children Mark and Michael Cuzick, wife Becky, sisters Linda Dunn and Ruth Flynn, brothers Jimmy and Buddy Hobbs, step grandchildren Dlyan, Jacob, and Michael Cuzick and Megan Loman. A Graveside Service with full Military Honors will be held on 1:30 PM Monday, Feb. 3, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Mike Cuzick, Dale Parker, Hunter Bickett, Danny Salyer, Jimmy and Buddy Hobbs, and Shawn Provard. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. The family is accepting donations in his memory made payable to the funeral home.
