Lee Wayne Stubblefield

Lee Wayne Stubblefield, Sr., 63, of North Glen Cove Ave., passed away at his home after an extended illness. A native of Jessamine County he was born Jan. 25, 1947, to Lee Junior Stubblefield and the late Gladys Marie Lee Stubblefield. He was the former owner of North Main Tire & Auto where he was a mechanic. Lee’s hobby was fishing and boating. In addition to his father Junior Stubblefield he is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Marquetta W. Stubblefield, daughters Courtney Leigh Larkin, husband Noble and Christina Rae Stubblefield, sister Georgia Loman, Nicholasville, brothers Bill Stubblefield, wife Kathy, Ohio, and Kenny Stubblefield, Nicholasville, a niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Lee Wayne Stubblefield, Jr.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, Nov. 19, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with Rev. Elwood Hager officiating, he will be laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery. Honoring him as pallbearers will be Billy Stanifer II, Danny Carpenter, Dean Scanlin, Chris Stubblefield, Steven Loman, and Buddy Bonds. Honorary bearers will be Allan Jones and Allen Rhodus. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, Nov. 18, at the funeral home.
