Leslie S. Clifton

Leslie “Les” Clifton, 75, loving husband of Patricia “Cricket” Clifton for 52 years,  left his earthly home on Tuesday Dec. 12, 2023.  He was the loving father of Jennifer Gayle Clifton and Tricia Ann Clifton.  He was a native of Jessamine County born May 17, 1948, to the late Ommie and Thelma Goodlett Clifton.  Leslie was a former employee of Frantz Inc where he worked as a plumbers helper and was US Marine veteran.  He was everyone’s friend and believed in helping anyone who asked or needed his help.  He loved fishing and spending time with his family. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren who he adored Chasity Freeman, Britney Freeman, Allison Freeman, Josh Lindsey, Nick Lindsey, Jake Davis, Joe Davis, Maddie and Miranda Osborne and his 12 great grandchildren, as well as his brothers Bobby Clay Clifton and Eugene Ratliff, and sisters Teresa Newton, husband Anthony, and Mary Newton.  He will never be forgotten by his many extended family members and friends.  In accordance to his wishes cremation was chosen with inurnment in the Wilmore Cemetery at a time to be determined. “His life was a blessing ,his memory a treasure, he was loved beyond words, and will be missed beyond measure.”.  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home values nothing more than the trust given to us to care for Leslies’ arrangements.
