Wilmore: Lillian Dennis Drury, 93, of South Maple St. died Sunday, July 2, at Royal Manor Nursing Home. A long time resident of Jessamine County she was born August 19, 1912, to the late Robert ‘Bob’ and Ida Goforth Dennis. She was a member of the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church and the widow of Roy Drury who died in 1992.

Survivors include 3 daughters Phyllis West and husband Gene Allen, Dixie Reynolds and husband Donald, and Judy Montgomery and husband Calvin, 5 grandchildren Michelle Squires and husband Darrell, Jeff West, Craig Reynolds, and wife Jessica, Chris Reynolds, and wife Laura, and William Grimes and wife Angie, 7 Great Grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Dale Drury, and 2 sisters Augusta Sherrow and Lena Dennis.

Services will be 1:00 PM Wed., July 5, at HAGER & CUNDIFF FUNERAL HOME, W. Oak St., with Rev. Don Reed officiating burial in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jeff West, Craig Reynolds, Chris Reynolds, William Grimes, Darrell Squires, Arza Byrd, and Buddy Hurt, Honorary bearers will be Nancy House Bill Keith, Maxine Byrd, Benny Willhoite, Margaret and Butch Fugate, and Connie Mason.

The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staff at Royal Manor Nursing Home for the care and compassion given to their Mother.
