Lillian Sadie Thompson, 74, widow of Richard Gerald Thompson who died in 2005, passed away peacefully at her home on Third Street.

She was a native of Paris, KY born Nov. 14, 1938, to the late Litford and Christine Montgomery Puckett. Sadie owned and operated the Jessamine Cleaners located on East Oak St. for many years.

She is survived by her children Carolyn Thompson, Harold Thompson, Linda Witt, Mary Ann Johnson, and Paula Elder, husband Michael. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren Christopher Conley, Faith Conley, Machelle Blackmer, Crystal Blackmer, Cody Poor, Jake Walton, Christy Bottoms, Cassie Beavers, Lauren and Benjamin Elder, numerous great grandchildren, sisters Ann Harrison, husband Chaplin Jim Harrison and Ruth Howard, a brother David Puckett, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Machelle, sisters Agnes Dean and Betty Puckett and brothers Charles Kenneth and Litford Puckett, Jr. There will be a family visitation on Tues., Feb. 5, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
