Linda Kay Wilhoite, 50, loving wife for 24 years of Joe Cooper Wilhoite, Jr. died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 13, from injuries she suffered as a result of a traffic accident on Edgewood Drive. A native of Jessamine County she was born June 16, 1963, to the late Robert and Mary Ann Carson Merriman. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother to her children Ann Margaret Kay "Katie" Wilhoite, Jo Anna Rebecca Marie "Becky" Wilhoite, and Joe Cooper "JJ" Wilhoite III. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Wilmore Cemetery on Wed. Nov 20 where she will be laid to rest beside her father. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. The family request donations be made to a memorial fund at PNC Bank in her memory. The family wants to thank Diann and Ron at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home for working with us when no other funeral home wanted to help. We loved her so much and are thankful that Diann was there to help our family so we could have a funeral and burial. We just want people to know how much this has helped us.
