Lisa Renee (Wiley) Rooney

Lisa Renée Rooney, 53, mother of Alan Lawson, Regan Rooney-Flora, John and Crystal Rooney left her earthly home on March 18, 2020.  She was a native of Woodford County born Sept. 29, 1966, to  Robert Wiley and Reagan Hammond Embry.  Lisa was formerly an employee of the home health industry.  She loved being outdoors whether it was reading a favorite book,  walking by the creek or on the beach.  She will be fondly remembered by her family including her step Father Jimmie Embry, her 10 grandchildren , sister Jessica Heath, brothers Bob and David Wiley.  “Understand you own nothing, everything that surrounds you is temporary, only the love in your heart will last forever”   A Private Family gathering will take place at Hager & Cundiff Funeral with a Graveside Remembrance  2:30 PM on  Wednesday, March 25, in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.  Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home values nothing more than the trust given to us by Lisa’s family.
