Lois Jane Lee

68, of Briarwood Dr., died Sat., April 22, in Ashland, Ky. after a long battle with breast cancer. A native of Louisville, she was born June 5, 1936 and was the daughter Myra Long Sewell Auckerman and the late Clarence Henry Sewell . She was a retired employee of Ashland Oil, a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and the Ashland Oil Retiree Club. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and tending to her flowers.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by 2 daughters Lois Jane Moore and husband James H., Ashland, and Lisa Lynn Lowry and husband Rick, Lancaster, 3 sisters Jeri Hugunin and husband Bill, LA, Phyllis Bradbury, CA, and Velma Jean Jones, OH, a brother Donald Sewell, LA, a grandchild Jessica Lee, and 2 great grandchildren Riley Gage and Ryan Gavin, all of Ashland.

Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tues., April 25, at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Greer officiating, burial in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Lowry, Jim Moore, Danny Ray Lowry, Jesse Lowry, Jim Lowry, Tim Rice, and Frankie Hubbard. Honorary Pallbearers will be Margaret Mowery and Donna Simpson. Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM, Mon., April 24, at HAGER & CUNDIFF FUNERAL HOME, W. Oak St. Contributions may be made in her memory to Community Hospice Care Center, 2330 Pollard Rd, Ashland, KY 41101.
