Lois Marion Nevil White, 79, of Nicholasville, entered into eternal rest at the home of her daughter on Thursday, Sept. 10. She was the widow of John Nevil who died in 1998 and Terry White who died in 2011. A native of Williamsburg, KY she was born Feb. 17, 1936, to the late George Dewey and Rosa Shepard Davenport. Lois was a devoted homemaker who loved gardening, canning, and raising rows of gladiolas and button mums. She was well known for her beautiful Strawberry Heirloom Tomatoes. She leaves her memories with her children Carol Nevil, Diana Sallee, husband Charles, Gail Rawlins, Mike Nevil, wife Kristy, Paul Nevil wife Noel and Teresa Carter, husband David, 13 grandchildren David Brezeale, wife Mallory, Daniel Brezeale, Stephen Brezeale, wife Holly, Nathan Brezeale, Amanda Lambert, husband Matt, Christina Marshall, husband Scot, Johnny Nevil, Chelsey Olguin, husband Regino, Caleb Nevil, wife KayLynn, John Nevil, Ashley Carter, Sara Nevil, and Lindsey Nevil, 8 great grandchildren Ian, Adelyn and Gabe Marshall, Jacob, Ally, and Evan Brezeale, Adonai Olguin and Ava Leigh Nevil, a sister Verta Mae Neal, and a sister-in-law Barbara Davenport. Lois was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. A Service of Remembrance will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with her first husband John Nevil in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Her grandsons will honor her as pallbearers. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home is honored to be of service to Lois's family.
