Nicholasville: Lorena Canter Goodlett, 79 of W. Brown died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, July 3. A native of Jessamine County she was born March 10, 1927, to the late Gordon and Laura Lee Anderson Canter. She was the widow of Jasper Mulcay and Elwood ‘Eddie’ Goodlet and is survived by a son James Willhoite and wife Caroline, a granddaughter Crystal Dawn Purkapile and husband Scott and their 3 children James Richard, Carson Scott, and Cassidy Dawn Purkapile and her former husband James Willhoite.

Graveside Services will held on Wed., July 5, by Rev. Steve Scholar at Maple Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her memory to the Edgewood Baptist Church Media Center. The family chose HAGER & CUNDIFF FUNERAL HOME, W. Oak Street for arrangements. hagerandcundifffunerals.com
