Nicholasville: Louise Corman Fain, 90, of Elm Fork Rd. died Sat. Oct 27, at U.K. Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Jessamine County she was born Aug. 2, 1917, to the late James ‘Dock’ and Anna Belle Bowman Corman. She was the widow of W. L. Fain who died in 1990. She was a member of Sulphur Well Christian Church but had attended Little Hickman Christian Church for many years. Louise was a life long tobacco farmer and was a member of the Jessamine County Beef Cattle Association , the Sayre Christian Village Auxiliary, and the Farm Bureau. Survivors are 2 boys Robert Rose Williams, wife Debbie and Roy Mitchell Williams, wife Connie, grandchildren Steve Mitchell Williams, Phillip Rose Williams, Tracy Jean Williams Day, husband Donald, Troy Sutton Williams, 3 great grandchildren Maria Allan Day, Donald Gene ‘Trey’ Day and Payton Michelle Williams step niece Rebecca Cox, and daughter Whitley Mitchell, step nephew Chad Cox, wife Kimberly, and numerous cousins. Survivors also include her special friends Nancy Breiner, Maxine Reynolds, Imogene Robinson, Waulene Lucas, Cricket Shelton, Teenie Stinnett, Roberta Stinnett, Sandy Hammond, Brenda Hays, Brenda Jasper, Maggie Taylor, and Margaret Clay Johns. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Hazel C. Masters, and Mary Mitchell Williams.
Services will be 2:00 PM Mon., Oct. 29, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest beside her husband in Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Williams, Robert Williams, Phillip Williams, Steve Williams, Troy Williams, and Allen Hager. Honorary bearers will be Milton Stinnett, Bobby Shelton, Victor Robinson, Charles Wilson, Johnny Davis, Gene Walker, Thomas Bursin, Johnny Bowman, Chad Cox, Darlene Peel, Lilburn Fain, Jimmy Bowman, A. G. Canter, William W. Halfhill, and Donald Day II. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 PM Sunday, Oct. 28, and on Mon. from 11 AM until time of service.
